it's like watching a drama and knowing when a disaster beginning to unfold ( but can't do anything about it).
parents are getting older and i can't stop myself from feeling sad seeing the white and grey hair on their heads.
whether i realise or not, both of them did sacrifice a lot for us. i wanna change my temper and be a better daughter, and hope that they'll grow old gracefully. so many things i did wrong. if i can't change the others, i might as well just do my part and be good to them.
1 of the reasons that deters me from seeking a job in kl is them, not much of not wanting to leave my comfort zone. maybe this will change in the future, but for now, filial mode is on.

I'm a fool who is sad and hungry in the middle of the night. Grass is always greener on the other side; when I was a teenager, I felt like a kiddo and can't wait to grow up. Now that I'm 22, nearing the end of my study life, I feel like I have missed out a lot as a college student. Now I'm watching the younger students flirting and pulling pranks on one another, just like my good old days. I can't help but feel old, where I have so many other concerns besides hanging out with friends & dating.

I kept reminiscing the good old days recently, and feeling blue at times, I wonder if old people feel the same way. Maybe I should go ask my mother.

Prom cum Masquerade Night 2011

I attended the annual prom of SYCI on 8/10/11 which was held in Syuen Hotel's ballroom.

If the person in charge of ticketing didn't chuck the ticket into my hand, I honestly wouldn't have joined in the event.
The event was quite fun overall, despite the poor performance at the end of the event.
We didn't wear our masks at first, but the moment we stepped into the ballroom, we're shocked to see everyone was in masks. Quite surprising cos I thought SYCI students will not be that enthusiastic. :p
Got closer to friends whom I do not usually speak much to and took a lot of pictures (which most of them show the unflattering side of me!).
Did not win any of the lucky prizes (I won 1 in the first SYCI prom) .

Found an old cd that I used to play during PG - Ipoh drives. So many memories came flooding back to me. Be it good or bad. The period's so far gone now- it seems like a lifetime ago. And the songs remind me of my baby girl. When I have a house on my own, I'm going to adopt a dog from SPCA. I strongly suggest anyone planning to get a dog/cat to adopt one from SPCA instead of buying, cos I'm sure they need your love more than those properly taken care of. They deserve a chance to be loved too.

My finger got paper cut yesterday when I was furiously flipping through the P5 textbook to (kononnya) study for progress test. Then come dinnertime, a thick fish bone poked right into my palate. Yes, it was strategically hidden vertically in between the rice and the moment I munched, it stuck there. So horrible! I gotta pull it out and feel so disgusted. It still hurts when I brush my teeth.

Did P4 (surprise) progress test today, I'm screwed. Gonna be so embarrassed this coming Thursday when I get the results. Another good friend got a job in KL and am gonna miss her so much.

*and, seriously, whatever happened to my awesome 2010 body and sharp chin?? ;'((

I totally miss my teenage life! So carefree and happy. Wrinkle-free, higher metabolism rate, surrounded by good friends. Friends come and go. Only a handful of good friends are still in contacts.
Gonna be done with studies soon. I'm starting to feel reluctant to leave this phase of my life. I don't know how my future going to be, not foreseeable at the moment, but I know it's gonna be fine. I don't want to grow up so soon. Cos it means getting old, and grumpy. Haha. At this point, I'm starting to regret many of the mistakes I did when I was younger. I thought I knew best back then, when I did not listen to my mother. (example; dating at a young age and not studying well) True enough, when I'm old enough to understand things, I realise she was right. I know that we shouldn't regret past mistakes. Making mistakes is part of growing up. I learn many things the hard way, and I guess (and hope) all these will only make me stronger! Life has been good, and I am genuinely happy with my life. Still on the pathway to discovering my own true beliefs. Soul-searching is a tedious process :p
Gonna sleep now, having a morning class later and it's 3 in the morning.

Hmm, I spent unexpectedly excessively again. So fat still wanna buy clothes :(
It's raining heavily after our shopping session. Once at home, I enjoy sipping hot tea, feeling the breeze of the air and knowing that I'm perfectly sheltered. Some less privileged people out there are probably feeling cold and sad. I thank God and my parents for the life I have. :) I have the best family I could ever ask for.

Anyway, results will be out in a week or so. I gotta start studying for my final session!

As much as I'd want to believe that people do realize their mistakes and repent, most of the times they actually don't. As the saying goes, a leopard can't change its' spots. So I realize I am making a mistake yet again to trust this kind of people. Not anymore.

And to someone I love, quitting is sometimes winning. Sometimes, an obsession with never quitting is worse than quitting itself. When costs outweigh benefits, we abandon the plan/project.

Went to Cameron Highlands again with 3 friends from Penang. Had a whale of a time despite the dizziness along the way. This time was even better than the previous time with a new member joining in. Bought and eat a lot of food. :)
Sad thing is that 2 of my friends kept making fun of my tummy. Guess I've been too happy to notice my fatness all these while :p
Went to satisfy my recent cravings for Beansprout Chicken and tong shui in the evening, followed by a walk in Ipoh Parade. All in all, it was a very fun day out! *big satisfied grin*

At times in life, there will be moments when I watch myself walking down the wrong path, but still continuing walking, and just hoping that it will eventually be the right way out.
I persevered and rather be wrong, and starting everything from scratch again. than making a U-turn.
Old people will say "when you see the board in front of you, why do you still go and bang your head against it?".
I know I might be silly, but just let me learn from my own experience. That will shape me into a better person in the future, hopefully.
Be decisive, even if it means you'll sometimes be wrong (Jackson Brown). True. Make up your mind, and stick with it. Whatever it is that is bothering you, once you have made up your mind, you'll notice the immediate lift of burden from your shoulders.

I love my family. If anyone hurt them, I'll make a voodoo doll out of him/her and poke it. Kidding. Be a good person by being kind to others. It will definitely make the world a better place to live in.

It's the new semester again, and hopefully the final 1!

I wish to meet Michelle before she goes back to the U.S. of A.

Sometimes I'll miss every one of my school friends these days. Feel so old at times even though I'm just 22.

Feels like I've been through a lot of hardships and as I'm growing older, time has kidnapped the good old innocent me away and replacing me with someone stronger whom I don't really know. I used to be a very easily contented type of person, just a little smile from someone I care brightens up my day or by going out to get something to eat/drink makes me happy.. I feel happy easier. But it's not so anymore. I get lost in my own thoughts at times and can't really enjoy the present moment. Someone asked me if I prefer "Happiness now, or happiness later?" I answered now, cos tomorrow may never come. I'm good theoretically, but when it comes to practising, I need to put in more efforts. I'm trying to reverting back to the good old me as I felt happier back then. I don't care if you think I'm being naive. Besides, enjoying the present moment is not naivety. It's the way to enjoy life to the fullest. :)

p.s. after typing the above out, i suddenly feel happy. hmm, it's true that i find peace in writing!

My mother's a nurse and since she has quite an amount of knowledge in general sickness, she tends to worry if she "hits" a few symptoms of diseases, say, diabetes. She'll check out all possible info to assure herself that she's not turning diabetic. She knows exactly how awful it is to be diagnosed with any diseases and hence, she gets worried about health issues easier. To me, it seems like she's just too conscious and shouldn't jump into a conclusion at every tick on any diseases' symptoms checklist. That's what I thought until I am in her situation at this very moment that I understand why was she so worried etc. I've something which is very bothering and need to see a specialist doctor asap but can only go on Monday when the clinic's open. I pray that everything will be alright and God will bless me. Pls pray for me if I ever cross your mind during your prayers. I need all the blessings I can get. :-((

I wonder why some men like to carry their ladies' handbags as though those were theirs and walk all over the place hurting my sight. Unless it's only for a while, of course. These men look so ridiculously funny and gay. I'm sorry that I have prejudices against men carrying handbags (like one that you carry on 1 side of the shoulder like a ladies handbag) and those with their collars up when it's not hot. I totally understand if they're participating in outdoor activities with their collars up to prevent sunburn but not walking around in the mall like that?

Well, maybe I just don't understand the "fashion" nowadays. I've always preferred simple dressing than fanciful "lala" dressing. Maybe I'm just too conservative. Ok, done commenting. =D

Yes, so it's that time of the semester when I feel great throughout the months all up til Aug.
Gotta complete accounts for my brother's telecommunication biz and submit tax returns before I can hang out freely with my friends. I feel so blessed that I have nice people around me.
Recently the thoughts of working in an audit firm terrify, petrify and horrify me. But I still have to continue down this path. It's going to be a stepping stone to something bigger and more interesting in the future, hopefully.
I gotta complete my ACCA soon. Hopefully by the end of this year. The conflict is, I enjoy being a student but I want to go to the next phase of my life so badly because I truly despise the examinations. Sitting there for 3 hours and 15 mins for each paper is a mentally-torturing experience that I can't wait to escape from.

I'm executing my diet + exercise plan now! :))

Now it's this 2 leng luis + 1 leng zhai turn to give me my birthday surprise!
They showed up at my house and sang me birthday song with a candle on Big Apples Donuts at 1 smth am!
I was truly surprised and showed up in my worst state ever! No bra, no makeup, and with my specs on. I was very speechless and dont know how to react. Thank you, Kar Pui, Jia Yan and Swee Yee. I'm lucky to have all of you. I have very good-quality friends, hehe! Now that reality sets in, I feel like crying..

I am so surprised when my aunty called yesterday and said that Renuka walked in and handed me cupcakes!

Had breakfast and feel good after waking up completely at 7. Woke up at 5 actually but done nothing productive as I was still very drowsy then.

I'm so happy that I have a few friends who actually remember my birthday despite my Facebook being deactivated. This show they truly remember :-)

The only thing I like about ancient Chinese Art is their Face-Changing art. I'm always in awe whenever I see videos on that. The performer's face-changing speed is amazingly high and I think the masks are very beautiful. The whole face-changing thingy is like a magic show to me! :D

As for scary game, the only one that totally freaked me out back then was this scary game, if I'm not mistaken. I dare not click on the link as it's 2.50 a.m. now and I'm all alone at the moment. I played this when I was 18 and even though it's quite predictable, it still managed to scare me out.

For a good ghost scary movie, I'll recommend Silk. - a Taiwan movie. Not exactly scary, but it's not the usual crawling-out-from-tv kind of movie.

global warming

I feel very bad each time I turn on the air conditioner. Cool now, hotter years later. Pity the younger generations. We are all contributing to global warming and I am really worried about the condition of our Earth. People are complaining about the heat and resorted to the air conditioners, which will just worsen the situation in years to come. I still turn on the air conditioner when I can't stand the heat, but am cutting down the hours now. Hope everyone will do their own parts in preventing global warming. No matter how insignificant as you think, just try your best to make a difference.

At about 2 am last night, I wondered why there's a notification on my phone saying that my password for my email is incorrect. I typed in a few times but still failed to verify. I just left it that way and continued with my games. Just while I was lying on the bed, I sensed something is wrong and tried to log in using browser on my phone. It's only then that I saw this alert from Gmail saying that there's a suspicious activity and need me to verify myself. God knows how glad I felt when I remembered keying in my mobile number about a week ago for future verification issue. It comes in just right. The moment I gained access to my email again, I was so shocked to see numerous delivery-failure-emails returned to me. Whoever the hacker was, or malware, sent out spams to everyone in my contact list. I am so glad that it didn't erase my emails though. Or I will go nuts. There are so many important emails inside.

So, sorry if "I" spammed your email.

What's the opposite of anorexia? I think I might be suffering from that! I've grown so fat but somehow I still feel so good and comfortable with myself. It was only recently when I looked into the mirror and realized that I almost can't recognize myself anymore!! :'(
I don't know since when my stomach capacity has become so large. Even my family members are shocked to see me ngom-ed 2 slices of pizza almost immediately after dinner. It's scaring me out. I'm scared. I'm scary at the same time.
Sometimes, it's good to love yourself the way I do. I mean, I'm happy when I eat, and I'm happy with my body. I don't compare much with others and life's good this way. (But my case is a prolonged over-eating which is bad!) It's sickening when you need to starve yourself to "look good". Controlling diet is fine though, just not the crash diet type. I need to start cutting down on unnecessary intake of food SOON! One day, some day, I'm gonna start my healthy food intake plan and slim down again!

Currently got very obsessed with the song "Last Kiss" by Pearl Jam. I heard it many times when I was younger but never bothered to observe the lyrics (cos I couldn't "catch" them anyway). It's a real touching song and I've been playing it over and over again :D

Yesterday was a tiring but awesome day. 2 friends came over from Penang and drove me to Cameron Highlands just like that, spontaneously. We spent good time together, zig zagging up and down the hill. We had our white coffee at Nam Heong (Ipoh's famous white coffee shop) for breakfast and decided to go over to Cameron Highlands since I have no idea where to bring them around in Ipoh. While sipping the aromatic white coffee, the MBI's officer happily issuing parking compound to the cars without a parking coupon. And yes, I am one of the unlucky ones. I parked quite far away and have totally forgotten that I need to display that coupon on a Saturday. Sigh. To pay or not to pay? Lol.

I have not been to Cameron Highlands for like a decade and it was real fun to go with them this time.

Climbed the Boh Tea hill in a pair of heels and I have that sense of achievement when I successfully came back down to the car without tripping or falling face down ("puk gai"). Done some shopping, came back to Ipoh and had dinner at Yum Yum.

After the dinner, I went to meet another friend and had second round of dinner at Michaelangelo (unsure of the spelling). Food was good and the friend was a pig. We went to Aberdeen cafe immediately after dinner for another drink cos he's stupid. He said my blog is a comedy.

Overall, the day started well and ended perfectly. This is what I like instead of hanging out with acquaintances.

I wish I could go somewhere for holiday with my sisters soon.

This show is one of the activities I enjoyed most in Hainan Island. The directors use the nature as stage and it was spectacular. If the name Zhang Yi Mou doesn't attract you just yet, how about bikini babes running around in the cold weather, dancing and waving at you sounds like? :-p

I enjoyed my reunion dinner and welcomed the year with plenty of good foods. Ate til I got indigestion at night. Sigh. Nevertheless, the whole dinner was enjoyable.

I had friends coming over to Grandma's house for a small gathering and it was fun. We laughed like madwomen.

Met up with Joyce, Abel and Chrys today and had lunch at Oh Sushi followed by the movie Shaolin. Movie was quite good, with lots of drama and action. At first I was a bit skeptical considering the previous Andy Lau's film I watched (Future X Cops) was a total disaster. Then this Abel convinced us by saying it is good.
Went to bro's phone shop after that.

Anyway, Miss Joyce Wong was so thoughtful and bought me this souvenir from Bangkok:

Why not to buy Fake Goods / Imitations

Everyone loves superior quality products; but quality comes at a price. Not many can afford luxury goods and hence the rising demands of imitations. Fake stuffs are everywhere and many times, we can't tell them apart. Young girls are seen carrying branded designer handbags; i.e. Chanel/ Gucci/ Hermes/ LV/ Marc Jacobs/ Dior, which can easily cost thousands of moolah and I believe many of them are donning fake ones. Not that I can tell the authenticity by just looking at them from afar, but in general, how many young girls can actually afford such high end designer handbags? I don't know any. Unless they're gifts from wealthy parents / boyfriends. I don't know if those high grade AAAAA (or whatever they call them) replicas can be told apart, but for me, I wouldn't want to be seen in a fake imitation.

My case

Frankly, I have bought one before. The seller convinced me that she has the original one and when she compared them, there is absolutely no difference at all! Curiously, I bought it. Then I did some researches online and found out how fake is my "inspired" bag is. I think it looks ugly and I used it only to places like local eatery stalls, nearby shops, houses. It is now being kept in the wardrobe, wasting space.

Live within your own means. If I can't buy that Gucci bag that I love just yet, then I buy something else within my own means. At least I am proud to carry it, unlike the fake ones. I am not going to buy any inspired / fake/ imitation anymore. They're a waste of money. And not to forget, ugly (even if they're top notch replicas, psychologically, they're still ugly).

shopping on a lazy sunday

Hi people! Guess what? I got my car "wounded" again! Sad case.
I went to Jusco, Ipoh for a little shopping therapy with aunt on Sunday. The mall was so crowded that parking lots were almost impossible to get. After an hour of looking around and waiting for a parking lot, we finally got one. Parking lots in the mall on weekends are like pots of gold and people can do anything just do "snatch" one. I steered in a speed of lightning and attempted parking. It's an impossible act but I attempted anyway for that parking lot's a pot of gold, remember?
I asked aunty to be my eye and let me know if her side of the car still can go while I focus on my side. She told me everything's good even though I heard some weird sound, like a piece of metal being dented. I guess everyone waiting in line saw my car scratching the other innocent car. And maybe some even took a picture of it to be sent to The Star thumbnails section for a laugh. =.=
When I finally done parking (nicely), I inspected my car and the other person's car. His/her car was just mildly scratched (not even dented) while mine was a bit dented with a long complimentary scratch. Cool. Now I can go to the workshop to fix my bumper and side of the car altogether. I have planned to send my car to the workshop for the old wound on bumper just a week ago and am somehow glad that I still haven't done that.
Just when I thought I wanna go get a Blackberry, sudden outflow of economic resources make all best laid plans fall apart. I want a Blackberry Bold 9780 instead of Torch. 'Cos of sudden change in taste.
Anyway, at least I bought 2 new pairs of jeans and a blouse in MNG. It kind of ease my pain of "injuring" my car.

I'm reading this book entitled "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" and find it very similar to that of The Secret. I bet most of us here know a thing or two about the Law of Attraction. Everything has got to do with the mind. I am still a newbie when it comes to this. But believe me, it works.
For example, I have been craving for tong shui in my previous post. And then I get to drink it for 2 days. It's all in your mind. Try to control your thoughts. If you want something, you can get it. Just ask for it :-)

May 2011 be a year filled with joy and laughters, good memories with friends and family, dreams and success too!

I went to do some groceries shopping with MH a few days ago and it is as enjoyable as shopping for clothes. Not much young ladies will agree with me though! Haha. I love walking by the processed/frozen food aisles.

There are varieties of, say, hotdogs and nuggets and it is no easy task to look beyond the plastic and predict the deliciousness of each product. I can say that I have mastered the skill.

I just love walking in hypermarket / supermarket and grab, grab, grab food and drink supply together with personal stuffs. I feel very satisfied if I have a full trolley to be pushed to the car and unload them into the car. :-D
I look forward to the next CNY shopping. Hehe!

hush puppies - light reading for dog lovers

I have always loved dogs and I wish to get one when I have the ability to take care of one. :-D

I have in mind the basset hound; aka Hush Puppies dog.

The most obvious part you'll spot about them is probably the long ears, which,in my opinion,look silly and adorable at the same time.

They are short and long, like the "hotdog" dog; Dachshund, just shorter in comparison. I read some reviews about them. Generally they are friendly, good-natured, heavy and slow. Have to send them for obedience training for they are stubborn.They have powerful nose and if they can smell the food on the table, they might stand up on the hind legs- you know what happens next.

I had a super fun celebration this year at KL. It was not the place but the people whom I spent the night with.

I wanted to upload more of our pictures but I don't know how to rotate the pics here. =.=

Tried rotating the file first but once uploaded, it went back to the -90 degrees look.

Spent a week in KL and the whole week was awesome.

Went shopping and movie marathon. Had a taste of good food and shisha.

The time spent couldn't have been better!

Just gonna review some of the food we ate. Can't remember cos my brain is low on memory. Will upgrade the ram soon. :p

Shopped til we drop (legs gave way) and I am really considering a pair of sneakers. Haha.

Also, I went for my first massage @ Bella Luna (Berjaya Times Square lot) with sis.

It was supposed to detoxify and I lost nothing despite the therapist / masseuse assuring me that I will see some results in the first treatment itself. Very good experience even though I felt very exposed. -.- The disposable G-string served no purpose, might as well just strip all.

Anyway, I'd rate a star out of 5 for the consultant and 4 out of 5 for the masseuse.

Enjoyed taking the public transport with MH when sis couldn't come pick us up cos it made me feel adventurous! Haha.

Met SN's boyfriend, Nima at last and he was a nice herbivorous guy. He witnessed all our antics!

This was the best Christmas celebration so far. And I don't know why my pics can be so unflattering! X-(

I suddenly crave for warm "tong sui" or dessert (as soon as I typed this, dad calls out for me to go downstairs for coconut juice). :-) Better than nothing!

I don't know what's wrong with my body... Hormone changes?
Pimples popping up as though I just stepped into my puberty years.
Scars are everywhere on my once flawless face and I don't know what else can I do anymore.
I totally dislike the idea of going into a beauty saloon to get facial treatments regularly.
I think of it as a task rather than enjoyment. I am the type of girl who can just cleanse my face with whichever product I can get on the shelves of Guardian or Watsons. Even L'occitane cleanser works no more on my skin. I don't apply heavy makeups and there's no significant changes in my diet either. It is really bothering me now. :'-(

So my ex-boyfriend has a new girlfriend. Not much surprising actually. And it all reminds me of the "warnings" his "friends" gave me when I first dated him. Never mind that.

Anyway, I just want to say;
don't make a permanent decision on a temporary situation / feeling,
and definitely don't make a promise when you're happy.

To me, effects from a break up is just temporary.
It is simply silly to make any decision like taking your own life. Thought of this as MH recently shared with me the news on a youth that committed suicide after his (then) girlfriend broke up with him.

The rule above does not just pertain to relationship thingy, but to everything in life.
We all have temporary setbacks in life and the real problem occurs when we make permanent decisions in the midst of those setbacks.

I do not promise someone something just to make him/her happy when I know I can't do it.

This is a sure backfire way in the future.

I admit I am stupid to believe in all those words I heard during the courtship period.

It's ok, I learnt a lesson in life.

This will be the final time I update on issue regarding my current ex-boyfriend as he no longer mean anything to me. I deleted him from FB recently and it is not because of immaturity. I know myself best. When I am certain that I have completely moved on, I might contact him back.

A relationship cycle is like a typical product life cycle.

Everything will be good during the growth stage and eventually when it reaches the maturity stage, weak relationships break and strong ones remain.

This is the time when all the pros and cons are mutually accepted and despite seeing the partner at his/her worst, they choose to stay together.

Ours have a short lifespan. I move on and focus on my other goals in life.

I am not in for a rebound and believe I will get someone who worth my care, attention and love someday. :-)

New Zealand Mine Explosion

The recent mining tragedy in NZ killed 29 workers (miners & contractors), bombing away the hopes of the victims' family members at the same time.The exact cause of the explosions is yet to be confirmed but the police believed they were caused by explosive, toxic gases swirling in the underground tunnels. As I read with sympathy, tears just formed in my eyes. I can't help but feel very sorry for the victims and relatives.
The survivors of the first blast, if any, spent their last moments on Earth in fear and anticipation; while some people in the other part of the world are contemplating suicides. It was a very sad piece of news indeed. Why them when such ill fate should fall upon the criminals and evildoers? I saw the picture of the victims in The Star newspaper (page W36) and some of the smiling faces caused me heartache. Nobody will ever get to see them smile again.

I believe they would trade whatever it takes just to be given a chance to survive the ordeal.
We should all treasure our lives when we are so fortunate to be alive and don't give up on yourself. No matter how bad things turn out to be, believe in yourself that you'll have the strength to carry on with your life... Tell your loved ones that you love them whenever you have the chance and mean it. You may never know when is your last day.

So, to my family and friends, I love you guys. I'm glad fate brought us together.

It is Mum's birthday today.. I really wish she could recover soon. Love her so much. If I could, I would just stay by her side. I guess I just grew out of being rebellious. Saying that that doesn't mean I am staying around upon graduation though cos it is about time for me to explore a new place. As for now, I will appreciate our time together.

l'occitane immortelle series

I just have to say just how much I love l'occitane products! From their hand cream to foot cream. Sigh. If anyone could give me a lifetime supply of l'occitane products, I will love anyone to death. :-D yeah,that's how much I love it's products. This time I bought Brightening Cleansing Foam for my irritated skin. I don't know if it's the weather or ipoh's air is more contaminated than penang's. My face was oily and pimples started popping out of nowhere. I have changed a few cleansers to suit my new skin type but my face's condition was still as bad. I then decided to buy l'occitane cleanser through a U.S.A. Spree. I was impressed. Just the first wash and I could tell you that it was love at first wash. It feels gentle yet it cleansed my skin like a magic, unlike many other cleansers that will dry the skin to achieve the same squeaky clean feeling. I fall in love with l'occitane over and over again. Sigh. Bye bye money.

Knowing anyone planning to tie their knots have always cheered me up in the past. I've always wondered how it'd be like to have 1st hand experience. Right now when it happens to my own brother, I was ecstatic. I look forward to witness their r.o.m. Happy to know that he has found his other half.
It's destiny. If you're destined to be together, things will happen somehow. It is nice to know that they have decided to have a future together ( with no baby on the way yet ).
Heard of a few real-life love stories that touched my heart and that is why I have never lost faith in love.

It has been a month now since my recent break up and it still stings my heart at times.

Time-travelling back into the past. Is that possible?

Ever heard of Charlie Chaplin before?
He's an influential actor / director of silent films around 1910s (prior to World War I).
In a 1928's Charlie Chaplin's movie premiere, there was a footage showing a woman walking past the videocamera and talking into a black device that looks like a handphone (handphones were only invented after the World War II).
A film producer, George Clarke bought the Charlie Chaplin DVD recently and was shocked to discover the "scene" and replayed it for a hundred times before posting his finding in YouTube (video below).
Oh, and the elderly woman was wearing a pair of weird, long-shaped, pointed boots and looked shocked when she spotted the videocamera while talking to herself.
This made many wonder if she was a time-traveler. Is it even possible to travel back in time?
Maybe in another gazillion years when the humans (or whatever they call themselves then) have the needed resources, time-travelling will be made possible.
If we can travel to the future (by travelling in a spaceship at about the speed of light for a length of time, then return to Earth) , maybe we can travel back in time too.
Physicists came up with 2 time-travel theories, which you can read more on them here.
Too bad we won't be around to witness such phenomenon.

Another possibility is that the black device was just a hearing aid (pic below).
But, seriously, talking to herself?

It really made me wonder for days. As for me, I would like to believe that she's a time-traveler. Haha!

I think I'm hungry... again.
This is weird. My stomach kept playing rock songs, demanding attention from me.
I'm not giving in. Gotta go shower after this blog update.
I miss baby wolf a lot.. i kept thinking about that cute girl.Earlier on i chatted with the buyer of my small husky. He told me the boy was diagnosed with dog demedex. I google-d it and found out it was caused by mites. I feel so bad and sorry for the dog. If the dog is not strong enough for the 2 week treatment course then he will be put to sleep. Made me feel so worried for baby girl as well. :-(
Miss her a lot. Still remember how excited she was when i visited her last 2 weeks and the maid told me she always sneaked into the house to run upstairs to look for us. Poor girl.Aih.
Anyway,once I've renew my Mykad I will go to ISPCA for voluntary works. Just need to wait for my uber big pimple to disappear first! Haha!

Time to go bathe. It's already 1 in the morning.

I went to Celcom and Digi to terminate my subscriptions with them.
After about an hour plus looking for parking, I stepped into Celcom centre to pay my RM250 bill.
The agent who "served" me was Noor.
This woman is one of the rudest customer service agent I have ever met!
Why do I say so? Ok, I handed her the termination form which I have filled in earlier on.
Then after some data entry by her, she told me that there will be a final bill as the billing period ended on 24th Oct. I have to pay the amount they pro-rate during the period of 25th Oct to 26th Oct (which is today). So I asked her, can you please estimate about how much is that? If possible I would like to pay in advance. She replied that I have to just wait for the bill. Alright. I then asked her if the bill can be sent to my current residence instead of the registered address as I no longer stay there. She asked me, where? I replied, Ipoh. She asked me where again. I replied in detailed. She went and "so?" me a few times. WTH. I told her if the bill is to be sent to Penang, I wouldn't get it. Can you just change my address for me? She replied VERY rudely (I am not exaggerating); if you want to change your address, go fill up the form!!
I was thinking to myself, then why the heck she asked me where and so at the first place if she's not gonna bloody change it for me??!
Pardon my language.
I kept my cool and asked her to calculate for me the total amount that I should pay.
She got so annoyed and replied, this is RM 180++ and this is RM 80++. She just read out what was written there. At that moment, I really feel like giving her one tight slap. I repeated, can you PLEASE calculate the TOTAL amount for these 2 bills??
Goddamn it, she "OH MY GODDDDDDD"-ed me loudly! I was stunned for a min as she punched the calculator unwillingly. That's it la.

Didn't create a commotion there as I need to get to Digi a.s.a.p. before my parking coupon expired. I don't need another summon to increase my debts.

Went to Digi after that and paid a whopping rm 550 for the broadband service that I didn't use.
My bank account and wallet are bleeding now. I'm broke. COMPLETELY BROKE!!
AND not to forget my MAXIS! I estimate it to be around RM350. Boohoo!
RM 1k just bid farewell to me. And Digi, Celcom bills are not final yet. Still have to pay next month. God... Please flow some moolah into my pocket!
Oh, and for Digi, they have pretty Customer Service agents who smile at you at all time. Talk about good customer service. Even though I have to wait for my turn while standing, the experience is still way better than facing a rude customer service agent at CELCOM. Memang sial-kom.

Reached home and I have all the time in the world to call Celcom ;-)

Just came home from running errands.
I JUST REGISTERED MYSELF AS A VOTER!!
I will get the status of my application in 3 months' time.
I rejoiced on the fact that I defeated the demons of procrastination; at least on this.
Will try to wake up early tomorrow to renew my MyKad. Sure get fined one. :-(
Then have to go pay bills... Sigh. Bills bills bills!!! Sad-nya...
